Chicken wing with Chili and Bean paste

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken wings
  • 1 stalk of broccoli
  • 2 slices of ginger
  • 1 stalk of spring onion
  • 3 stalks of Chinese parsley
  • 1 cup of soup stock

Marinade

  • 2 tablespoon of spicy bean paste
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of wine
  • 1/2 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil

Method

Chicken wing with Chili and Bean paste

1. Wash and drain chicken wings, marinate for 30 minutes

2. Wash and dice broccoli

3. Add soup to saucepan, add broccoli. Cook until well done and put in center of dish

4. Add 1/2 cup of water to saucepan. Add marinated chicken wings, sectioned spring onion and Chinese

parsley. Cover saucepan with lid, bring to boil, switch to low heat, and cook for 20 minutes.

5. Put chicken wings on top of broccoli and serve hot.

*Broccoli is a cool-weather crop that does poorly in hot summer weather, better consume before change of seasons.
