Braised chicken wings with mushrooms and oyster sauce

Ingredients

  •  4 chicken wings (whole)
  • 8 Chinese dried black mushrooms
  • 2 cloves shallot (crushed)
  • 1 slice ginger

Marinade

  • 1 tsp Chicken Bouillon

Seasoning 

  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2tbsp rice wine
  • 2 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp corn flour
  • 1/2 cup water


Method

1) Wash chicken wings. Pat dry and chop into pieces.
Mix well with marinade ingredients.
Marinade for 15 minutes.
Soak mushrooms in water till tender.
Remove stem.
Squeeze dry mushrooms. Set aside.

2) Heat up 1 tbsp oil.
Stir-fry shallot and ginger till fragrant.
Add chicken wings and pan-fry over low heat till light golden in color.
Add mushrooms and sauce ingredients (pre-mixed).
Bring to boil over high heat.
Reduce to low heal and cover wok.
Braise for 10 minutes till sauce thickens.
Dish up.
Serve and enjoy!
